US Rabbi: Let Muslims, Jews and Catholics find common ground

On Sunday, the 27th of February 2011, an Interfaith meeting was held discussing 40 years of Catholic-Jewish relations.

Rabbi Marker is the Vice Chair of International Jewish Committee on Irreligious Consultation.

He says since Vatican Two, the Catholic Church has renounced anti-semitism and the two faiths have matured in their dialogue over the past 40 years.

He believes Jewish-Muslim relations could be transformed if the same model of dialogue with Catholics is used with Muslims. He stated:

“Forty years in the histories of two great world religions is but a blink of an eye,” Marker, chairman of the International Jewish Committee for Interreligious Consultation, said. “But 40 years of a relationship is a sign of its maturity.”

“The focus of the world is no longer specifically on Jewish- Christian amity. We must, for so many reasons, involve the third of our Abrahamic siblings… Islam.”

Christian and Jewish leaders have met regularly with Muslims to find common understanding, but these talks have not reached the depths of Jewish/Catholic dialogue which began officially in 1971.

These talks however, have not been all roses. Many Jewish leaders look down on Pope Benedict XVI for promoting ‘Sainthood’ for Pope Pius XII and did not do enough to save Jews during the Holocaust.

Paris Cardinal Andre Vingt-Trois hosted the four-day meeting, saying Catholics and Jews know each other as “friends” over the 40 years of dialogue with each other.

My Comment:

Rabbi Richard Marker is deceived if he believes the Vatican is now “friends” with Israel.

How can friendship be declared when over and over the Pope wants a divided Israel and is constantly defending the Palestinians?

The ‘Holy See’ is also on board with the United Nations, whom are not kind to Israel and can’t wait to see a Palestinian state. For Rabbi Marker to call Muslims the Jews “Abrahamic siblings” is a sad and false observation.

Islam will never be a ‘brother’ to Israel. Marker is walking down Antichrist lane which calls for ‘peace’ at any cost. When this false peace comes, many will give glory to God. But it wont be the God of Abraham, it will be the god of this world, Lucifer, whose goal is to be worshiped at adored. We need to pray for the Jewish people, that they will recognize their Messiah  has already come, and in Him they have eternal life.

The Vatican tax defaulter in Jerusalem

After more than a decade of negotiations, Israel and the Vatican are nearing an agreement on a longstanding tax dispute over Church properties in the Holy Land, Israeli senior Foreign Ministry officials confirms.

At the core of the tax dispute is hundreds of millions of shekels owed to the city by the Vatican and an array of Christian churches, Jerusalem municipal officials said.

According to law, properties that are used as houses of prayer are exempt from property taxes, but the churches, which own vast tracts in Jerusalem, are required to pay for buildings they own that are not used for worship – including hostels, guest houses and schools. The total amount of unpaid property tax amounts to roughly NIS 300 million, with the Latin Patriarchate the biggest offender, a city spokesman said.

False teachers fight in Church in Jerusalem

Fists flew at a church service in Jerusalem after a long-running feud between Greek and Armenian Orthodox priests erupted in violence. Israeli police and troops struggled to bring the brawl under control as clergy members clashed at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the walled city. The faithful kicked, punched and lashed out at each other with candles at the revered spot where Catholics and Orthodox believe Jesus was buried and resurrected. Several followers were left with black eyes, bruises and cuts as priests tried to tear their rivals’ robes off in the brawl. But such are the rivalries that the church keys have been entrusted for centuries to two Muslim families.

Pope wanted to secure Holy places of Palestine as International Zone

As late as 1949, the Pope of Rome wanted Jerusalem to become an International Zone. Not the capital of Israel, but the United Nation ruled Palestine.

«The International agreement» the Pope was promoting in 1949, will finally be implemented by United Nations. Most likely after pressure from the so-called Quartet, headed by an Anglican turned papist, Tony Blair. The pope of Rome will get a vital role in the formation and regulation of this International Zone, that will have the Temple Mount at its centre. The final anti-Christ will be seated there, and will face his final destiny in Hell on the return of Jesus the Messiah.

«The people of Gaza live in a big concentration camp».

He has become a victim of the lies, manipulations and deceptions of Radical Islam. Or he simply do not want to listen.

Cardinal Renato Martino, recently used these words when he pointed his finger at Israel. Martino is the head of the Vatican Council for Justice and Peace.

Lets take a closer look at the true Fascists of the Middle East.

Here are some striking examples of similarities between the Nazis in Germany and Hamas who rule in Gaza.

Both used violence to come to power:

Adolf Hitler set the Reichstag in Berlin on fire on 27th February 1993, and took over the office of the Chancellor of the Reich.

Cardinal and Bishop push Obama to lead Middle East Peace

Cardinal Theodore McCarrick and Bishop Howard Hubbard of Albany, along with Muslim, Jewish and Christian leaders urge President Obama take the reigns of Middle-East peace.

The Vatican wants a divided Israel and is using US Bishop and Cardinal to influence Obama.

Religious leaders are calling for a divided Israel asking for the:

“creation of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza, based on the 1967 borders with possible limited land swaps as mutually agreed; a fair negotiated resolution of the issue of refugees that does not threaten the demography of Israel; the sharing of Jerusalem by Israel and the Palestinian state with both having their capitals in the city; and Israeli withdrawal from the Golan Heights as part of a peace agreement with Syria.”

“We encourage you to visit Jerusalem and the region soon to meet with Israeli and Palestinian leaders to discuss next steps toward achieving peace based on the principles and ideas in these peace initiatives,” the religious leaders stated. “We pledge our prayers and public support for active, fair and firm US leadership in this urgent endeavor.”

Cardinal McCarrick and Bishop Hubbard agree with the United Nations Security Council resolutions stating:

“Since 2003,” their statement read, “we have worked together for a two-state solution that will bring Arab-Israeli-Palestinian peace within the framework of U.N. Security Council Resolutions 242, 338 and 1397.”

They state in their written letter that they shun violence and speak of the necessity of compromise to ensure peace:

“The path to peace shuns violence and embraces dialogue,” they stated. “This path demands reciprocal steps that build confidence. This path can lead to a future of two states, Israel and a viable, independent Palestine, living side by side … and a comprehensive peace between Israel and all her Arab neighbors.”

My Comment:

The Vatican is desperate to get control of Jerusalem. They use their men to achieve their political ends by influencing US politics. What a shame. They rally against Israel to prepare for the man of lawlessness. It took the Vatican about 50 years to accept the sovereignty of Israel, never liking it and always planning a way to strip her of her independence. Still the Jewish people embrace Pope Benedict as a man of peace, a man of peace because he will not share the Gospel and tell then the truth. Jesus did not come to bring peace, but a sword. The gospel divides families and friends.

Since the Pope does not use the Sword of the Spirit, there is no threat and a false peace develops and will continue until the antichrist takes position.

Pope makes final way for unity with Jews

The Jews want peace. Not Jesus of Nazareth. The Pope gets ready to be their “peace maker”.

The Pope wants to bring peace to the Word, Him self being accepted as "prince of peace".

Pope Benedict XVI has made a sweeping exoneration of the Jewish people for the death of Jesus Christ in a new book, tackling one of the most controversial issues in Christianity.

In ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ excerpts released Wednesday, Benedict uses a biblical and theological analysis to explain why it is not true that the Jewish people as a whole were responsible for Jesus’ death.

Interpretations to the contrary have been used for centuries to justify the persecution of Jews.

While the Vatican has for five decades taught that Jews weren’t collectively responsible, Jewish scholars said Wednesday the argument laid out by the German-born pontiff, who has had his share of mishaps with Jews, was significant and would help fight anti-Semitism today.

“There’s a natural human tendency to take things for granted, and very often this tends to lead to a lapse in awareness and consciousness about the risk of anti-Semitism,” said Rabbi David Rosen, head of interreligious affairs at the American Jewish Committee and a longtime leader in Vatican-Jewish dialogue.

He noted that the Vatican issued its most authoritative document on the issue in 1965, Nostra Aetate, which revolutionized the Catholic Church’s relations with Jews by saying Christ’s death could not be attributed to Jews as a whole at the time or today.

Rosen said the pope’s words might make a bigger, more lasting mark because the faithful tend to read Scripture and commentary more so than church documents, particularly old church documents.

“It may be an obvious thing for Jews to present texts with commentaries, but normally with church magisterium, they present a document,” he said. “This is a pedagogical tool that he’s providing, so people will be able to interpret the text in keeping with orthodox Vatican teaching.”

My comment:

Neither the Pope, nor the majority of Jews, are interested in turning towards Jesus the Messiah and be saved. That the Pope frees the Jewish people from being THE people who killed Jesus, does not free each individual human being from being guilty.

It was my sins that crucified Jesus. Your sins too, and the sins of each individual Jew. Only by accepting the Messiah as Lord and savior, you can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only Jesus can save. Not Moses and Elijah, nor the Pope.

The Vatican has already told the Jews, that they can get saved without embracing Jesus as the Messiah. That makes the Pope an anti-Christ.

For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

Since the Jews want peace at any cost, regardless if the truth about the Kingdom of Heaven and coming judgment is preached, the Pope will soon be their perfect “peacemaker”. He will unite all World religions, and enter Jerusalem as the “man of peace”.  Jesus will return and thrown this false “peace maker” into hell. The flesh of his followers will be eaten by the birds.

Spain hell bent on removing Jews from Hebron

In 1492 AD all Jews were forced to leave Spain. Now the Spanish Government wants them to leave Mount Zion.

A group of settlers from Hebron, led by right-wing activist Itamar Ben-Gvir, confronted Spanish Foreign Affairs Minister Trinidad Jiménez in Hebron on Tuesday.

The settlers yelled: “Anti-Semite, out! Hater of Israel  get out of here!”

Settlers asked on Monday to meet with Jiménez when she visits Hebron in hopes of swaying her to halt her country’s support of a Palestinian construction project near the Cave of the Patriarchs.

Jimenez’s two-day trip to Israel and the Palestinian territories is her first since taking office two months ago.

On Monday the heads of Hebron’s Jewish community and the Kiryat Arba settlement sent a letter to Jiménez and asked for an opportunity to present her with information regarding the dangers the apartment project poses to the city’s Jewish residents, because it is likely to host released prisoners.

“Its goal is to create a hostile demographic buffer, with a potential for terrorism, which could erupt at any moment, the heart of the tiny Jewish area, near the holy place – Tomb of the Patriarchs.”

They reminded  Jiménez that her country had expelled its Jews 500 years ago, some of whom had made their way to this ancient Biblical city.

“Does the Spanish government intend to contribute to an additional expulsion of Jews from Hebron?” they wanted to know.

My comment:

All hell bound Roman Catholics will persecute Jews till the day they will find them selves in the eternal fire.

Roman Catholics in Spain included. They have never stopped mocking God, twisting the gospel and harming the Jewish people and after 1948 the state of Israel. They are the very reason why thousands of Jews simply can not believe that Jesus is the Messiah.

The Roman “copy cat Jesus” is not the Messiah, but a false god, the very anti-Christ. Promoted by idol worshipers.  What they have done, was predicted by the true Jesus, our Messiah and Master.

Vatican: Israeli aggression behind the conflicts in the Middle East

«The solution to conflicts rests in the hands of the stronger country in its occupying and inflicting wars on another country»

Monsignor Nikola Eterovic will organize a Catholic synod in October, to be used to target the Jewish state of Israel.

This is expressed in a Vatican document released Tuesday. It blames the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the «occupying» of lands for fomenting most of the conflicts in the Middle East. This conflict is also being given as the reason for driving Christians out of the Middle East, and making life difficult for those who remain.

The document is a guide for discussions for an Oct. 10-24 meeting of Mideast bishops convened by Pope Benedict XVI. Monsignor Nikola Eterovic will be the Synod organizer. Ha said about 150 bishops, most of them from Eastern rite churches, are expected to attend the meeting, which follows a 2009 Vatican meeting of bishops on Africa.

It criticized the Israeli «occupation» of Palestinian lands, saying it had made life difficult both for daily life and religious life since access to holy places are restricted.

Citing both the Israeli-Palestinian and Iraqi conflicts, it said: «The solution to conflicts rests in the hands of the stronger country in its occupying and inflicting wars on another country».

«Violence is in the hands of the strong and weak alike, the latter resorting to whatever violence is within reach in order to be free», it said.

Asked at a news conference if the document was referring specifically to Israeli settlements in the West Bank and construction in east Jerusalem, Nikola Eterovic said theVatican wasn’t making policy decisions or recommendations in the document.

My comment:

One day the Pope enters a synagogue in Rome requesting for peace between Catholics and Jews. The very next day a Vatican document accusing the Jewish state of Israel for being a criminal state, that launches wars on «its smaller and weaker neighbor».

Nothing can be further from the truth.

First:

Israel is of the size of New Jersey state in the US.

Second:

The Jewish state has a land area that is less than two per cent of the areas controlled by its Arabic neighbors. Israel`s Jewish population is 5,5 million, a fragment of the populations of its Arabic enemies.

Third:

After being attacked by its Arab neighbors in 1948, 1952, 1967, 1973, 1981, 1991, 2006 and 2008, you have to be pretty dull to accuse Israel of being the aggressor.

Or you are under the influence of an unclean lying Spirit, who uses you as a tool to target the Jewish state.

Pope Benedict XVI has said that this unique city, holy yet deeply troubled, be a sign and foreshadowing of that peace which God desires for the whole human family.

Pope Benedict XVI reiterated his stand on the rights of Israel and Palestine to be sovereign and mutually-respecting nations Monday morning to the Vatican Diplomatic Corps.

He had expressed his appeal to the two countries to enter into dialogue and find a way to respect their respective rights on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land last May.

First, he called for «a universal recognition of the right of the State of Israel to exist and to enjoy peace and security within internationally recognized borders», and then he added, «likewise, the right of the Palestinian people to a sovereign and independent homeland, to live in dignity and to enjoy freedom of movement, ought to be recognized«.

The Pontiff also made a request to the international community for «the protection of the identity and sacred character of Jerusalem, and of its cultural and religious heritage, which is of universal value».

My comment:

Its not true that Jerusalem is «deeply troubled». I have been there three times, and the city is safe in the hands of the Jewish state of Israel.

When the Pontiff says the city is «deeply troubled», he should be asked the following questions:

Who is troubling Jerusalem?

Is it the state of Israel?

Was Jerusalem in lesser or lager trouble when it was under occupation of Jordan from 1948 to 1967?

When did Jerusalem start to prosper, who founded, and who developed the city?

The Pope should rather have stated: «Jerusalem should stay united. The city is safe as the capital of Israel, and the Vatican enjoy the access to all our Churches and the freedom of worship of our religion».

The «Universal value» of Jerusalem can not be expressed better than in the Bible, where the city is mentioned 792 times. In the Koran, the city of Jerusalem is not mentioned. The author of Islam found it not worthy of being mentioned, not even once. So much for the pope`s universality.
