The Pope lifts up an ancient symbol of the sun god, carried by a gold piece formed like the crescent moon. In Ancient Egypt, this was a symbol of the Mother of gods, Isis.

I have not paid to much attention about secret signs, and codes that will expose the Vatican. But after Jesus of the Bible gave me some vital information about the religious ritual of the Eucharist, I have to admit that we need to pay attention.
Because the World Council of Churches and Rome are seriously debating how to come back into full communion in regards to the “Eucharist Celebration”.
First:
There is absolutely no verses in the Bible that demands the bread in the last supper to be anything but an oven colored and shaped Jewish bread, blessed and broken by Jesus and shared at the table. It was the fellowship around the bread of life (The Word) and blood (His crucifixion) that was Jesus gift of eternal life to those who obey Him.
Second:
The Catholic priesthood has made breaking of physical bread, into a alter ritual around a pre-manufactured wafer. On the alter, they put this wafer into a strange gold stand, called the monstrance. The priest than lift the round wafer host in the holder above his head.
Afterwords the faithful are invited to eat the wafer. But very few have a clue about what exactly the priest have done at the alter.
Who does this gold strand represent?
Why put a bright white wafer inside a ring of gold?
And what kind of arrangements holds the host inside the ring?

If Rome only had included Egyptian paganism and Islamic symbolism in the Catholic Eucharist, some people could have defended this. They might tell you: “In the Catholic Eucharist we have a symbolic victory over the old ancient religions, and have Christianized them”.

Catholic priests also stands and pray in front of the Eucharist host, venerating, adoring or worship this image. This is the perfect merger of paganism and Catholicism.

Look back and ask yourself this question: since the Catholic Church has been under attack from more informed people, centuries before you were born, what have they successfully don towards bringing down the cathode church. My comment: There are too many people who are blindly led by the pope. He is no holy man, he is just like you and me. What these people fail to realize by following a man such as this, who falsely prays to Mary, who falsely bows down to dead people (AKA your priests that have died-people you think are Saints), these pope and followers do not realize, that this is not what Christ wants. Leviticus 26:1 “You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the Lord your God.
Yet, you choose to ignore what God has said, and blindly follow a man who can do nothing for you. So if you blindly follow this man and his church, do you really think that helping children, women, and men amidst war and famine, will allow you to be closer to Jesus? You must walk away and throw away the idols first, you must stop bowing to man and start bowing to Jesus. You must pray and talk only to HIM, because he is the only one who can save you. Until you see the Lord’s Word, for what it is, you will continue to be blindly led away.

Do you have any problem with the pope’s position? It means you don’t know what you are doing as a Christian. When christ instituted the eucharist, you actually thought it had no implications, so it’s for fun. It was at the breaking of the bread that Judas condemnation began, it was at the breaking of the bread he made the new and everlasting covenant with the apostles and indeed all Christians, it was at the breaking of bread that he commanded the apostles to continue to do same in his memory. It was at the breaking of bread that cleopas and his friend recognised him , it was at the breaking of bread that the disciples ŕecognized him after his resurrection. You know, it’s people who do not read or understand the bible that talk like you. “One Sabbath he was going through the grainfields, and as they made their way, his disciples began to pluck heads of grain.” (Mark 2:23)
When the Pharisees questioned this, Christ told them:
“Have you never read what David did, when he was in need and was hungry, he and those who were with him: how he entered the house of God, in the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to those who were with him?” (Mark 2:25-26)
Notice that our Lord mentions here, this bread is not just any bread, but was “the bread of the Presence”.
The presence of what? The presence of God. This bread was also in the Ark of the Covenant, where God was present. The Disciples were picking grain, which would be the ingredient for the “grain offering,” the Sacrifice in the Last Supper. It is this same Sacrifice of which Christ said, “This is my body, which is given for you.” (Luke 22:19)
This is just a very hard teaching for this ministry and all the followers.
You know, I really wonder if you guys know the kind of examples necessary to buttress certain point. The bread and wine that Jesus consecrated himself at the last supper was the same one he commanded the discipline to do in his memory, this is the same one that the Pope was talking about, and not whatever prefigured the the eucharist. Those one only foretold what was to come. Why are human beings so selfish with there references? Your points don’t add up at all my brother.
The idea of typology is not new. Paul says that Adam was a type of the one who was to come—Christ (Rom 5:14). Early Christians understood that the Old Testament was full of types or pictures that were fulfilled or realized in the New Testament.
The New Testament reality is greater than the Old Testament prefigurement.
The manna in the desert is infinitely inferior to the Holy Eucharist described in John 6:1-70.
If the Holy Eucharist were not the Body, Blood, Soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ, then that would make the Old Testament prefigurement, the miraculous manna, superior to its ‘antitype’.

He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless, unstained by sin. He has been set apart from sinners and has been given the highest place of honor in heaven. Unlike those other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices every day. They did this for their own sins first and then for the sins of the people. But Jesus did this once for all when he offered himself as the sacrifice for the people’s sins.
Now I see u understand the bible from carnality. Give me one reason Jesus asked the disciples to do it as often as possible and in memory of Himself? You study the bible with the intent to judge rather than have God speak to your soul. I’m sure you have seen on u tube, what benny hinn, prominent penticostal pastor said about the eucharist and the Catholic Church.

In the Old Testament the Passover consists of three distinct parts:
1. the slaying of the lamb (Exodus 12:5-6)
2. the covering of the doorposts in blood (Exodus 12:7)
3. the eating of the lamb (Exodus 12:8-10)
This foreshadowed Christ’s Passion.
The Slaying of the Lamb of God occurred once for all time at the Crucifixition. Covering ourselves in His Blood occurs most directly at Baptism, which is itself a one-time event.
Yet the eating of the Lamb is something which we can do time and time again.
In the Old Testament, Jews celebrating Passover could go for a second helping of the Lamb (and was in some cases required to, since it HAD to be eaten that day).
This second eating didn’t mean a second sacrifice.
They didn’t have to re-kill or re-sacrifice (or even re-mark the doorposts) to consume the lamb.
That’s what it means when the Catechism says “the sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are one single sacrifice.”
That’s also why the Eucharist is termed the “unbloody Sacrifice,” because the bloodshed was in the slaying of the Lamb, not the eating.
“For from the rising of the sun even to the going down,

and in every place there is sacrifice,
and there is offered to my name a clean oblation,
for my name is great among the Gentiles,
said the Lord of Hosts.”

Okay, first of all, Catholic doctrine doesn’t profess that Jesus is “physically” present in the Eucharist, but rather “truly, really and substantially” as per the Council of Trent. There’s a difference.
As for the reference to Hebrews, above, the Sacrifice of the Mass doesn’t offer “a new sacrifice every day,” According to the CCC, the sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are one single sacrifice” (CCC, 1367). Thus, Mass is not a “re-sacrifice” but a “re-presentation” of the sacrifice. And when we say that the Mass is a re-presentation of the one sacrifice of Christ, it does not mean that Christ is crucified repeatedly. It means that his sacrifice is made present. To re-present means to make present.

Since believers already have the Holy Spirit inside of them, why would they need to have MORE Jesus as flesh inside of them?

I have never in my life seen so much SIN as these people commit and still continue on their ungodly ways. I have seen priest so drunk, they stagger along the fence to go pick up their mail. There was one priest who actually tried to drag our 22 year old daughter into the rectory, putting his tongue in her mouth and she fought him off. Most of us are so used regular simple life void of the mysteries of real Christianity and that’s why the Catholic approach is seen as evil. Now, that’s the Catholic Church, believing and practicing whatever God has revealed without minding how others feel about it. Little wonder, the grace of God has kept the church intact despite all the attacks ranging from simple blackmail to creating of sites just to attack the church.
The Catholic church is the strongest financial power in the world, no known institution or government is as rich as the Catholic Church, yet, the Pope has no private jet. The total revenue apple Inc generates is less than what the Catholic Church spends on charity yearly. Your pastors fly private jets at the expense of your sweat yet you rise up to the Catholic Church like you really know what to say when you are faced with realities. Let me conclude by reminding you that charity is the only basis for which you and I shall be judged on the last day, Matt.25:38-40. If this is true, learn from the Catholic Church. But the Word of God tells us:
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
So exposing the Roman catholic church of their lies, their disgusting idolatry of bones and statues, their praising of man-the pope, in hopes that some will leave this horrific cult and accept Christ, repenting from their sins, well that is what Jesus wants us to do.

When the ridiculous Easter comes around, I thanks the LORD for all he’s done (as well as other days), dying on the cross for you and me, for his resurrections, and for the fact that he comes soon.

I know Jesus said that in order to believe a person needs the faith of a 5 year old, then again, why did God give us a brain with which to reason? Anyway there is an entire section in this book on the compilation of the bible by the Roman Catholic Church and how they perverted it.
The book also touches lightly upon the dead scrolls which have been used to verify parts of the bible.

Christianity has a lot to be said for it, and the basic tenets if followed properly I do believe can lead to a harmonious life. Even the disciples of jesus questioned him didn’t they? Why is it a sin these days to question christianity? Surely if christ himself could be questioned, then all christians should be questioning the entire time? Just my point of view anyway.
It is also my firm belief that the roman church is just mithraism under another name, and when one considers that the protestants, ie martin luther, broke away from the catholic faith to form all the protestant churches, taking the bible etc that the catholics had compiled, and started their new christian religions, doesn’t it then stand to reason that all christian religions are in fact based in paganism?

I hope that whoever reads this article remembers the key thing: try always to become more Christlike each and everyday. Some folks can do that without the Eucharist, I suppose, but there is a certain grace that I’ve seen from proper reception of the Holy Eucharist that each of us would do well to receive. There are many Catholics who put me to shame as their lives exemplify much more holiness than mine does. Where does this come from? And why don’t we see that so much from non-Catholics? There has got to be something there. Think about the ones we have heard about that have gone into eternity: Pier Giorgio Frassati, Mother Theresa, the late John Paul II just to name a few. Each of them have had a profound love of the Eucharist. Take another look. The Holy Eucharist is the most beautiful gift we could have ever been given – the body, blood, soul, and divinity of our Lord – and we would prefer to reject this. Re-read John chapter 6 and place yourself in the text. Where do you fall within that reading? Who else, besides the Orthodox and Catholic Churches (all rites included) offer the flesh of the Son of God in the Eucharist? I myself have rejected this in the past, but then our Lord opened my eyes. Many folks now, thankfully, are reverting back to the Catholic faith, and an even greater gift to the church is the conversion of evangelicals and protestants to the faith, who bring a profound knowledge of the bible with them. A couple of well-known names would be Steve Ray and Scott Hahn who both have taught me more about the Holy Eucharist than I learned as a young boy. Look them up – you’ll be glad you did. These men were vehemently anti-catholic at one time.
By the way, the bible does not hinge on the resurrection. The Eucharist DOES. By this I mean, there are folks out there that interpret the resurrection as a figurative event – that is to say they don’t REALLY believe the actual resurrection took place, but that Jesus lived on through his disciples. The Eucharist, by contrast, demands a response: “when we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim the death of our Lord and profess his resurrection.” Yes, folks, Catholics really do believe that Jesus physically rose from the dead on the third day – and we profess that weekly, maybe even daily through daily Mass.

Hey Notablogger. You may not find the truth in “serious scholarship”, most of the “serious scholarship” comes from Vatican backed scholars. I’d bet they have Jesuit priests working around the clock twisting scriptures. What you need is the good sense God gave you to think for yourself. The breath of life God gave to man is “understanding”, and that is all you need.

It is really funny how we present ourselves as Christian. We judge like we know anything worth learning. I see supposed Christians on this site, presenting themselves in such manner that, if I were a Muslim, I would never consider Christianity for a religion. Like Greg rightly said, the Catholic Church wholly and entirely compiled the bible and segmented it in chapters and verses. Every other church can only be traced to the Catholic Church. If the Catholic Church is standing on paganism, then every other church has pagan root.
All religions are based in ancient philosophies which we know today as “paganism.” Religions are centred around nature, in particularly the nature of our true selves. The oldest writings we know that exist are the vedas written in sanskrit which is modern day Hinduism. If you study the myths of both Hindu and Catholicism you will find striking similarities in the stories – which suggest they came from the same source. Every modern religion uses the same symbols as the ancient writers, the sun and moon probably the most prominent. The sun represents the male aspects of mankind and positive energy (the protons of an atom), and the moon represents the feminine aspects of mankind and negative charges in an atom, electrons. The male (positive) and female (negative) energies also exist in us and run up and down the body via a network of neurons. In the orient they are called ida and pingala. I don’t think we have a name for them in the west because the Catholic Church don’t mention it. But energy does exist in the human body and you have probably felt it. Science recognises the energy in the body so the west is not completely ignorant of it. But how dare modern scientists call our ancient ancestors “primitive” when they had a better understanding of energy and the expansion of consciousness than we do today.

Jesus passion remains current (not re-sacrifice as many accuse); and since God is above and beyond the restrictions of time (Psalm 90:2) such mystery is to be observed (memorial) forever.
You might think: “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?”
In fact, the Old Testament passover puts a nail in the coffin making the Eucharist an eternal observance. How else can we explain:
“And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.” (Exodus 12:14)
How could God institute this Old Testament “sacrifice” calling it “memorial” while it must and will be observed “for ever”?
While Jews still celebrate passover, they are missing the sacrifice and the slaughtering of the lamb. In Malachi 1, He clearly prophesied the animal sacrificial system will be ‘no more’ and will be replaced and continued by a sacrificial system called “grain offering” that is “pure”.
And since Israel does not continue such sacrificial system of killing a lamb, God then was speaking of the “faithful” and not simply Israel. And by this the sacrificial system continues in fulfillment of Exodus 12:14.

I don’t get into theological arguments with people, not only because they will lose, but because they are good people, misguided, but they mean well. However they forget one valid tenet of Christianity. You cannot convert someone, it is the H.S. who does that. These sects, cults, organizations or whatever you belong to, ( some are less than 200 years in existence) CANNOT stand up against the bedrock teachings if the ONE HOLY APOSTOLIC Church, instituted by Jesus Himself about 2000 years ago, a church which existed before the New Testament was written, a church which compiled the Bible, and whose foundation, doctrine, precepts are all scripturally based. So people, please get your own bible and do please stop adulterating the Word of God, which you got from the Church. At least the hindus muslims etc have their own book.

A church which compiled the Bible? It was Marcion who compiled the first Christian Bible around 200AD, the first Christian Bible that that did not include and actually rejected the Old Testament, which is the Jewish Bible. The oldest surviving full text of the New Testament is the Codex Sinaiticus, which was “discovered” at the St Catherine monastery at the base of Mt Sinai in Egypt in the 1840s and 1850s. Dating from circa 325-360 CE.
So much time since 1AD, so much time for a fabricated story and Mt Sinai… what a great place to plant it!
