Yesterday I saw a TV-program about the comedy-team Monty Python and how they made the movie «Life of Brian». Being a Friend of Israel, I enjoyed it. The Islamists are awaiting the 12th Imam/Mahadi -named Antichrist by the Bible. It is amazing that their prophecy so closely describes their savior in exactly -almost- the same terms as our scripture describes the Antichrist.
In order for the prophecy in the book of Revelation to be fulfilled Babylon has to be rebuilt. And, it will be rebuilt about the same time as the antichrist appears on the scene. The prophecies you are writing of concerning the total destruction of Babylon have not yet b been fulfilled. I find it very thrilling to see prophecy being fulfilled in the rebuilding of Babylon. This tells me that the beginning of the tribulation period is very near, and that the pretribulational rapture of the Church is even closer. Theologically it is not a big deal but I don’t want you to be discouraged when Babylon is rebuilt – all true believers in Jesus, who are watching and being ready, as he told us to may be raptured by then.

If you all would spend as much time actually studying the things you’re so recklessly speaking about. Then you might actually help yourselves as well as someone else. I think its very interesting that so many have access to the same scriptures. Even claim to study them, but all have different beliefs. You know, a group of bible students once decided to study the Bible. They came up with topics of discussion. For instance is Jesus really God? Then they searched the Bible for every scripture that had to do with the subject. They were then able to come to a proper conclusion. 2Timothy 3:16,17- All scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight… Hard to come to a proper conclusion when you don’t have all the details in the first place. Learn fully the subject that you wish to teach. Read John 17:3. Which (a) shows that Jesus is not God the Father. And (b) that knowing both the Father and the Son means eternal life. How can you say that you truly know someone when you’ve never truly taken the time to learn about them? I would also like to know how everyone that claims to be a Christian is going to heaven? Scripture says that only 144,000 are going. Now if you compare 144,000 with the amount of people claiming Christianity today and all the ones over the past 2012 years C.E. and the ones over the thousands of years B.C.E. It just doesn’t add up. And if everyone is going to Heaven than what was David saying in Psalm 37:9,11,29?
The 144,000 is not a total number of those who will enter heaven. That number is in the scripture that calls the group the “remnant”. This is a group who will remain after the antichrist appears. There is debate about if this group is only Jews who become messianic belivers or if they are just people who become believers in the end. I personlly need to do more reading on this, so I do not know the answer at this time.
I have a question that might be sensitive. Please do not think i am rude. Typically those who state the idea that only 144,000 enter heaven are Jahova’s Witnesses. Are you a Jahovah’s Witness? This clarification might help us all discuss this idea more.
Babylon is used in Revelations to symbolize false religion. All the false religion we know today originated there. All the confusion on this page alone gives some insight on how satan works. How he uses these false religions to confuse everyone. Everyone is looking at the physical Babylon waiting for something to happen. While Babylon has been being built for a long time now. False religion is everywhere. Whats really sad is so many have the truth right in their hand. Waiving it at the next person. Telling what they claim to know is going to happen. All the time knowing in their own heart that they haven’t put forth true effort to make sure what their claiming as truth is in deed truth. Everyone knows their right and if the next person doesn’t believe the same thing then their as good as dead. And this is supposedly said with love? God is love, and his word says not to judge others. Simply claiming Christianity isn’t enough.
I just have one issue. You claim God’s Word says not to judge. Yet Matthew 7 claims other wise. It begins with one of the most misquoted verses “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.” Sounds good right? If you end it there, you have not read it in context. If you read the whole chapter, you will find that the only right way to judge anyone or anything is to directly compare it to God’s Word.
If i see a person putting a piece of gum in his pocket at a gas station, then leave without paying, I can correctly judge his action and call him a thief. Now, I do not think there are words in the English language to accurately describe what I do believe about judging his heart or where he will spend eternity. I feel he is likely not a Christian. Yet I know I am a Christian and struggle with sin myself. Stealing just happens not to be a sin i love doing. So this fictional man I mentioned might in fact be saved, yet struggling with this sin. So I need to make sure I do not judge him incorrectly and lable him unsaved due to one situation. This is what I believe most people mean when they blert out “do not judge!”, yet they alwyas end up lumping in the other people like me who state openly a person is a thief if he stole. When they lump me in they are actually making a judgement themselves! How ironic. So basically those whom you think are judging are being judged by you in your own post. Again, how ironic.
The only answer that really matters is: Jesus Christ is God, He is alive, and only by believing what he did for us – how he suffered a torturous death – the shedding of His BLOOD – will cleanse us from all unrighteousness – and then on the 3rd day – He rose from dead and NOW sits at the right hand of the Father – and is coming back for us very soon …. for his bride the church – he is our groom and it is only through him and his name, Jesus Christ can we enter the Kingdom of God. Believe, Repent, Receive Eternal Life through him only and only through Jesus…. On judgement day, Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, and King of Kings.
